Meditation means concentrating on something. It may be on the
breath or on a picture or on some speech. It is only the ultimate way to
understand the universe and its components. It is only the source to know
oneself. Long back saints explained its importance, gradually set aside with
deterioration of moral values. In recent years, again it gets importance.
Experiments by the scientists proved the importance of
meditation in daily life. Posner, a scientist with his research team, conducted
experiments on 58 Chinese graduates. He had instructed them to meditate for two
weeks for 20mts. He compared the brain scanning before and after meditation.
The team proved that there are positive changes in Grey layer, which control
the logic and memory.
Similar studies are carried out by Richardson during 2012 on
Buddhist monk and attached 256 sensors while he was in meditation. The study
also proved the same.
‘Meditation is only the process available to know the
secrecy of life’.
